    “We had a lovely stay – have felt very welcomed and couldn’t be more complimentary of your B&B. It is beautifully clean and the attention to detail is great. Lovely food (possibly too much!!) as veggies great not to worry about provenance etc. We will be back in better weather to see the surrounds a bit more – Chris may come back sooner if the horse gives him a nervous breakdown!” Reply

      So pleased your trip was both enjoyable and a success. Don’t forget if you want to ‘park’ the new horse here when you come up to collect him, you are most welcome to. Have saddle – can ride!!

    Way beyond our expectations! The attention to detal and quality if accommodation sets a standard for others to try to achieve. The food was superb, satisfying and scrumptious. It was a joy to stay here. Reply

    Room - Homely and very comfortable. Very comfy bed + great shower. Fresh milk rather than nasty little UHT pots is a brilliant idea. Food – Steak so tender and cooked to perfection. Vegi haggis almost made M cry; it was so nice. Breakfast was equally as impressive. Other – Actual glasses in the room was a nice touch, an abundant supply of tea bags in the room was great. Love the gardens, hens and afternoon tea. We will be coming back, don’t change anything. Reply

    A perfect place to stay. Everything has been wonderful: the location; the hosts; the accommodation. The food has been absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend it to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Excellent!' Reply

    “This is a disastrous guest house to stay at if you are a) on a diet & b) need to go back to work! The food is well prepared, produced and presented with specific needs well met. Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. Isabel & Ross are warm, friendly people never ‘in your face’ but always there if you need them. Definitely worth the 4 stars and more, that they have, the hens are 4 star as well! Thank you for a very enjoyable break, just what we needed.” Reply

    “FAUTLESS! Made to feel very welcome & that nothing was too much trouble. Lovely boutique feel to the rooms and a lovely peaceful, charming setting. Breakfast was delicious – disappointed now that we never tried a full dinner – but definitely next time! ALSO the dual capacity for veggie & non-veggie is rather unique – a proper vegetarian that doesn’t eliminate meat-eaters – a true ‘open-to-all’ boutique property. Everyone should come!!” Reply

    “It isn’t often that one gets a chance to praise in these days of apathy and indifference so it is with great delight and joy that I can record a first class experience at White House, especially so for vegetarians! Gourmet food, incredibly hospitable and caring hosts, nothing too much trouble! I loved the attention to detail (e.g. covered glasses), very comfortable bed, great shower . . . . all in all a truly excellent time - stylish yet homely.     "The large room (Master Suite) in "the best B&B" is fantactic, the four poster bed is very comfortable, the room is excellent and then we get to the bathroom. I have stayed in three rooms now here , all good but this one is the best. There was nothing better than coming back in the evening and sliding into the jet bath, so relaxing and so good and with the breakfast here it has made it my number 1 best B&B. Many thanks." Reply

    “We had a fantastic room as good as a suite in any five star hotel. Ross and Isabel, you both made our stay so enjoyable we couldn’t wish for anything more - but we got it - the best vegetarian food we’ve tasted away from home in 27 years. We’ll definitely be back even if we have to take a 100 mile detour”. Reply
