ACCESS STATEMENT
This describes the physical access to the property in order to assist those with specific physical requirements.
General Comments
- The property is accessed from the main road by a farm gate that needs to be opened and closed behind you. It ONLY opens away from the road.
- The house is 170 metres along a driveway that is suitable for cars.
- There is plenty of parking near the house.
- The house is accessed over 2 small steps into the courtyard, the steps can be slippery when wet.
- To the rear of the house there is a small sill to the door into the dining room.
- The gardens are generally flat with lawns, flower beds and trees.
- The canal towpath is accessed by a gate and ramped bridge, this can be slippery when wet.
House and Dining Access
- The House has 1 step and 1 small door sill into the main reception room.
- All internal doors have 25mm high oak door sills.
- The dining room is on the ground floor and approached via two small steps.
Room Access
- The Aviation and the Garden rooms are accessed via a staircase with a 90 degree turn and one handrail on the right hand side as you go up.
Master / Family Room
- This room is on the ground floor and accessed via a small step upwards.
- The room has a small step leading up to the bed and wardrobe.
- The Whirlpool-bath and shower en-suite is accessed via a full size door in the bedroom; there is a small step down into the shower.
The Cheshire Room
- This room is on the ground floor and accessed for the inner guest lounge.
- The en-suite bathroom is accessed via a door in the guest room.
- There is a step up into the shower surround.
The Aviation Room
- This is accessed from a small landing at the top of the stairs.
- The shower en-suite is accessed via a door in the guest room. This door does not open to a full 90 degrees.
- There is a step up into the shower surround.
The Garden Room
- This is accessed from a small landing at the top of the stairs.
- The shower en-suite is accessed via a door in the guest room.
- There is a step up into the shower surround.
